stop repossession
Prevent home repossessions
What happens if you fall into arrears?
If you fail to make your mortgage payments for over two months, your mortgage contract gives your lender the power to begin repossession proceedings. If your lender is not satisfied with your proposals to repay your mortgage, they will take you to your local County Court in order to repossess your home. If they do so successfully, they will sell your house in order to cover your debts.
Mortgage arrears damage your credit rating and can, in worst case scenarios, prevent you from getting another mortgage in the future. However, it is never too late to stop your home being repossessed. Even hours before eviction we can help you find a solution and stop the repossession.
How can we help?
Our advice is free and you are not obliged to comply with any of our solutions. However, our experts have stopped many repossessions and work for the purpose of saving your home.
Purchase:
We buy your home ensuring that the repossession is stopped. If the sale raises enough revenue to clear your debts, you are free to keep all of the profit.
If your home is repossessed, it is unlikely that your mortgage lender will make as much profit on the property. If the lender does not make enough profit to cover your debt, you will be forced to pay the difference.
Equity Release:
We stop the threat of repossession by providing immediate funds that clear your debt. During this period, your mortgage will be paid, removing all stress and allowing you to focus on other things without the risk of falling behind with your payments. You are free to sell your house and as you are not being pressured into a quick sale and can sell your house for its full market value.
Home Reversion:
We buy your home, for around 20-60% its market value, and allow you to live there for a minimum rent (usually £12-£18 per year) for the rest of your life. The older you are the higher the percentage you will receive for your property. Under this scheme, you do not need to sell all of your property. You can sell just a portion of your property. The portion of ownership that you retain can be passed on to whoever you wish and you have the option of selling more of your property at a later date.
It is important, if you are facing arrears, that you act quickly and don’t become disheartened. We aim to provide the best solution for you, ensuring that we can stop repossession.
